My name is Logan Shay, I got my start just outside of Sacramento, CA working with colts. During my time there I learned a lot about both traditional and modern practices- my take away being that a combination of the two is most beneficial for the relationship between human and horse.

I’ve been working with horses ever since. I have gained some experience working in a rodeo environment, as well as in boarding and show barns. Currently, my clientele is largely made up of young horses learning rote skills, as well as older horses who I am rehabilitating from long-held bad habits. I am willing and happy to work in conjunction with feedback from veterinarians and farriers- in fact, I believe addressing all potential causes of behavior is essential to good horse training.
